Compatibility & Workflow

Z446 family only. Not interchangeable with Z366, Z327, Z032-HK, or Z496-K rotor bodies. The bucket fits the Z446-750-AC rotor body; with rectangular buckets (Z446-MP-BUK), the same rotor body becomes a microplate-direct-loading configuration. Mixing bucket profiles on the same rotor is not supported.

Adapter library (Z446-750-A* family, sold separately) extends the round-bucket fit to multiple tube formats — 28 × 50 mL, 68 × 15 mL, 250 mL bottle adapters, microtube adapters, etc.

Bucket lid (Z446-750-LID, sold separately) adds hermetically sealed bucket configuration on top of the standard round bucket — biosafety upgrade for blood-borne-pathogen and BSL-2+ workflows.
