The PR1000-HF-1000 is the larger pack of the Accuris High Fidelity DNA Polymerase family — 1,000 units of HF polymerase at 2 U/µL for production-throughput cloning, sequencing template prep, mutagenesis, and microarray workflows. Right-sized for cloning core facilities, sequencing-prep production benches, and mutagenesis-production workflows where the smaller PR1000-HF-200 pack is too small for the rotation cycle. Each kit ships with 1 tube of HF Polymerase (500 µL at 2 U/µL = 1,000 units) + 5X buffer that — unique among the PR1000 family — already includes 5 mM dNTPs plus PCR enhancers and 15 mM MgCl₂.

HF polymerase produces blunt-end PCR products — suitable for blunt-end cloning vectors. Standard Taq adds a 3'-terminal A overhang for TA-cloning compatibility; HF polymerase lacks this activity because the proofreading exonuclease removes terminal mismatches.
Workflow implication:
The HF buffer already includes 5 mM dNTPs (1 mM in the 1X final reaction) — distinct from the PR1000 and PR1000-HS buffers, which require separate dNTPs. This simplifies reaction setup (no separate dNTP pipetting step), standardizes the dNTP final concentration at 1 mM (appropriate for high-fidelity PCR), and simplifies procurement (no separate dNTP line for HF workflows).
For workflows needing different dNTP concentrations or specialty dNTPs (modified bases, fluorescent-label dNTPs), supplemental dNTPs are needed.
