The Yamato VR102S is the vacuum controller for Yamato RE-202/212 rotary evaporators. It is factory-installed above the jack handle on the REV-202M/212M models; ordered separately it upgrades an RE-202/212 base unit to automatic vacuum control. A 2.3-inch color LCD shows operating status by color, and three operation modes suppress bumping so distillations run unattended.

The VR102S is designed for the Yamato RE-202/212 rotary evaporator platform. It comes factory-installed on the REV-202M/212M models, so those units already have vacuum control; order the VR102S separately to add controlled vacuum to an RE-202-A / RE-212-A base evaporator or its glassware variants. To close the loop it needs a vacuum path: either the optional OVR10 vacuum control solenoid valve, or the N820G diaphragm pump paired with the Vacuum Pump Control Unit G (OVR26) for rotation-speed control (limited modes). A connection cable to the RE unit is required; used stand-alone it needs a separate AC adapter/power cable.
Do I need this if I have a REV-202M model? No. The VR102S is already built into the REV-202M/212M models. Order it separately only to upgrade a non-V RE-202/212 evaporator.
Does the VR102S control the vacuum by itself? It controls a vacuum path, but needs a control element — either the OVR10 solenoid valve or the N820G pump with the OVR26 Pump Control Unit G (rotation-speed control, limited modes).
What pressure units does it display? mmHg, Torr, hPa, kPa, and mbar, on a 2.3-inch color LCD.
Confirm at quote whether you are adding solenoid control (OVR10) or pump-speed control (N820G + OVR26), and whether the RE connection cable is needed. Add to a quote alongside your RE-202/212 evaporator.
