The Yamato RG202A is Glassware Set A for the RE-202/212 rotary evaporators — the traditional glass set where the condenser is tilted diagonally. It is the "A" configuration matched by the RE-202/212 and REV-202M/212M A glassware models, and is intended for use with a chiller. The cooling condenser is a double corrugated tube with a 0.143 m² cooling surface.

Set A fits the Yamato RE-202/212 and REV-202M/212M rotary evaporator stand. It is the glassware supplied on the "A" configuration models (e.g. RE-202-AWA, RE-212-AW2A, REV-202M-AWA) and can be ordered as a replacement or to reconfigure a base RE-202-A/RE-212-A body. The matching rotary joint is product code 255720 (29/38) or 255722 (24/40). Choose Set A when you want the classic diagonal condenser; choose Set B (RG202B) for a space-saving vertical condenser or Set C (RGB202C) for a cold-finger condenser for volatile/low-boiling solvents.
How does Set A differ from Sets B and C? Set A uses a diagonally tilted condenser (traditional layout). Set B (RG202B) is a vertical condenser for tight spaces; Set C (RGB202C) is a cold-finger vertical condenser for volatile, low-boiling-point solvents.
What flask sizes does it take? Evaporation flasks 50–2000 ml (use the optional reducer for small flasks) and receiving flasks 100–2000 ml.
Do I need a chiller? The catalog lists Set A "use with chiller" for its diagonal condenser.
