The MR9600-405 is the 405 nm wavelength filter for the Accuris MR9600 SmartReader 96 — single-wavelength interference filter at 405 nm visible-range wavelength. Common workflow applications: paranitrophenol (pNP) phosphatase-activity assays (alkaline phosphatase, acid phosphatase enzyme-activity assays release pNP which absorbs at 405 nm), beta-galactosidase ONPG assays, and some Bradford protein-assay alternative protocols.

Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity assays — pNP-phosphate substrate hydrolysis releases pNP which absorbs at 405 nm; routine ALP activity quantification in clinical chemistry, ELISA detection systems using ALP-conjugates, and bone-marker workflows.
Acid phosphatase activity assays — same pNP-substrate chemistry as ALP but at acidic pH for acid phosphatase activity quantification.
Beta-galactosidase ONPG assays — alternative to 420 nm for some ONPG protocol variants.
Western blot / ELISA ALP-conjugate detection — pNP / BCIP-NBT detection systems using ALP-conjugated secondary antibodies.
