Same intercalating-dye + Hot Start Taq + blue tracking dye chemistry as the High ROX (-H) and No ROX (-N) sister variants, with the Low ROX passive reference dye formulated for ABI ViiA 7, QuantStudio 6/7/12K, ABI 7500 Fast-block cyclers that require Low ROX-level passive reference normalization.

The Low ROX formulation is engineered for the ABI Fast-block cycler family that requires lower passive reference dye concentration than the Standard-block ABI 7000-series cyclers (which use the High ROX variant):

Pick the 100-reaction entry pack when: workflow throughput is light (< 100 qPCR reactions per quarter); step to 500-rxn for moderate-to-high throughput or 1000-rxn for production scale.
