This SKU is the rectangular bucket only. Order Z496-1000-RBUK when at least one of the following applies:

3. Replacement buckets — if a current bucket is damaged or has reached service life, this 2-pack provides replacement units.
4. Spare bucket inventory — facilities running cleanings between aggressive-solvent runs sometimes maintain spare bucket inventory so a bucket can be in cleaning while another is in use.

Compatibility — Rotor Body and Chassis

Rotor body compatibility — Z496-1000-AC only. The Z496-1000-RBUK rectangular buckets are engineered for the Z496-1000-AC rotor body's bucket-mounting geometry. Not interchangeable with Z446 / Z327 / Z366 / Z032-HK rotor bodies, which use different bucket geometries.

Assembled chassis compatibility — Z496-K family. Once the buckets are installed on the rotor body and the assembly is mounted on the chassis, the assembled rotor + bucket fits the Z496-K (Floor-Standing) and Z496-K-UC (Underbench) chassis. Both Z496-K variants are 230 V only.

Workflow Notes

Microplate-direct loading. The chassis's RFID-aware imbalance shut-off is calibrated for the assembled configuration; pre-balancing bucket pairs by weight (with samples loaded) is operator responsibility before each spin.
