The Z327-200 is the standard swing-out rotor for the Hermle Z327 / Z327-K family — 4 × 200 mL bottle capacity in swing-out geometry, shipped with 4 buckets included. At full operating speed the buckets swing horizontal, producing the clean phase boundary required for serum/plasma separation, density-gradient work, and any workflow where vertical orientation would compromise the separation. The rotor's defining feature is its deep adapter library — the 200 mL buckets accommodate adapters that scale down to 1.5 / 2.0 mL micro tubes via the appropriate Z327-200-A* insert, making one swing-out rotor the workflow tool for everything from primary blood-collection bottles down to microtubes on the same chassis.

Compatibility & Configuration
Chassis compatibility — Z327 family only. The Z327-200 fits the Z327 / Z327-K. Not interchangeable with Z366, Z446, Z032-HK, or smaller universal centrifuge chassis.
RFID-tagged. The Z327-200 carries an RFID tag that the chassis reads at insertion; the drive automatically applies the rotor's rated 5,000 rpm cap and tunes the per-rotor imbalance threshold. This is important on the Z327 chassis whose chassis-spec maximum is 18,000 rpm — without the per-rotor RFID cap, an operator could enter a higher speed than the swing-out rotor is rated for.
Without-buckets sister: Z327-200-AC ships the same rotor body without the 4 buckets — for facilities that already own buckets or are configuring custom bucket sets.
Bucket lid (Z327-200-LID, sold separately). Adds hermetically sealed bucket configuration for biosafety-critical separations where aerosol containment matters. The lid attaches to the bucket and seals during the spin.
Deep adapter library (sold separately, all in the Z327-200-A* SKU family). The brochure tube-rack table specifies tube count per bucket per adapter — the 4-position rotor with appropriate adapters scales to high-throughput (e.g., 32 × 1.5/2.0 mL microtubes per cycle via the A20 adapter).
