Design Architecture

Per-cycle plate consumable. Each IsoPure 96 extraction cycle uses one deep-well plate. The plate is loaded into the chassis processing chamber at one of the 8 plate positions, the protocol runs (with the chassis's 8-position carousel + 2 heating blocks engaging the plates per protocol step), and the plate is discarded at cycle end.

Heating-block thermal coupling. Per IsoPure 96 brochure: *"Heating of the sample mixture during the lysis and elution steps significantly improves the purity and yield of the target molecule. The IsoPure 96 is equipped with 2 heating blocks on the plate carousel that can be precisely set to temperatures from ambient + 5°C to 120°C. IsoPure deep well plates fit into the heating blocks for efficient heat transfer."* The AP1096-DWP plate is engineered for this heating-block fit.

Multi-step protocol layout. The IsoPure 96 protocol typically uses one or more deep-well plates per cycle to support the multi-step magnetic-bead workflow (lysis → binding → wash → elution). Workflows requiring elution into a different plate format use the AP1096-ELP elution plate (96-well elution plates, sold separately at $523 / case of 100).
