The Yamato AC-706 is a 76-inch, four-glove anaerobic chamber sized for up to two operators, wired for 115–120 V / 60 Hz service. Its 40.9 cu ft / 1157 L work space and two pairs of gloves let two researchers share the same oxygen-free atmosphere, purged through a six-canister molecular-sieve drying train and a dedicated transfer chamber. Shipped as a complete system, it needs only your choice of inert gas and your samples to support high-throughput anaerobic microbiology, biochemistry, and O2-sensitive materials work.

When anaerobic work outgrows a single operator, the constraint is workspace and glove access, and the Yamato AC-706 answers both: 1157 L of internal volume — more than double the single-operator chambers — with four glove ports so two researchers can process samples side by side in one shared atmosphere. A six-canister polycarbonate drying train (versus three canisters on the smaller units) gives the larger chamber the moisture- and oxygen-scrubbing capacity it needs, and two vacuum diaphragm pumps handle the drying train and transfer-chamber purge independently so the main atmosphere stays intact during transfers.
The chamber is built for sustained shared use: optically clear top and bottom sections keep the whole workspace visible, "Easy Clean" corners simplify decontamination, and 40,000-hour "Bright Light" illumination covers long sessions. Four ground key-cock valves and an adjustable transfer-chamber vacuum gauge give operators direct manual purge control, and self-sealing quick disconnects allow drying-train swaps without breaking containment. It suits core facilities and busy labs running microbiology, biochemistry, plasma-environment, animal-science, and electronic sub-assembly work at two-operator throughput.
How many operators can use the AC-706 at once? Up to two — it has four glove ports and two pairs of white ambidextrous hypalon gloves.
How much larger is it than the single-operator chambers? Its 40.9 cu ft / 1157 L working volume is more than double the 17.3 cu ft / 489 L of the AC-505/515 chambers, with inside dimensions of 60 × 38 × 31 in.
What voltage does the AC-706 use? 115–120 V at 60 Hz, drawing 10 A. The AC-716 is the equivalent four-glove chamber for 220–240 V / 50 Hz.
Is purging manual or automatic? Manual — operators control the purge with four ground key-cock valves and the adjustable vacuum gauge.
What does the drying train contain? Six polycarbonate canisters filled with molecular sieve, which absorbs residual moisture and can be rejuvenated in an oven.
What gas does it require? Any inert gas of your choice, such as nitrogen or an anaerobic gas mixture. It ships complete; you add only gas and samples.
The AC-706 is quote-based capital equipment. Add it to your quote and our team will confirm current pricing, glove and gas options, and lead time. It ships crated as a complete system (~685 lbs); plan delivery access for the large chamber and an inert-gas supply at install.
Warranty: Per Yamato standard terms. Safety: Never use in a flammable or explosive gas atmosphere, and never introduce explosive or flammable materials.
Positioning: The Yamato AC-706 is the 115 V four-glove, two-operator anaerobic chamber — choose it when workspace and shared access matter more than footprint. Pick the AC-716 for 220–240 V service, or the smaller AC-505/515 (manual) or AC-505A/515A (automatic) chambers for single-operator work.
