The kit contents — bucket, gloves, goggles, and tongs — provide the safety equipment and sample-handling tools required for liquid-nitrogen cooled bead-mill workflows where samples are pre-frozen before homogenization.

The kit is workflow-mandatory for cryogrinding — labs running cryogrinding workflows on the BeadBlaster 96 should procure the IPD9600-CK kit alongside the chassis. For wet homogenization or dry grinding workflows only (no cryogrinding), this kit is not required.

Pair with cryogrinding sample-vessel inventory. Cryogrinding workflow uses standard sample vessels (jars, vials, plates) — operator pre-freezes samples in LN₂ before loading into the chassis. Aluminum adapters (IPD9600-1520, IPD9600-48) are thermal-conductive and support cryogrinding; stainless steel jars also compatible.
LN₂ supply. The Cryo Kit does not include the liquid nitrogen itself — confirm LN₂ supply at the lab (typically Dewar flask delivery from gas / cryogenic supplier).
Workflow-mandatory PPE. Cryogrinding workflows REQUIRE the PPE in this kit; do not run cryogrinding workflows without proper PPE.
