The IPD9600-96 is dual-purpose:
1. Direct 96-well plate homogenization — load IPD1196-40 prefilled bead plates (or IPD1196-MP sample plates with operator-loaded beads) directly into the IPD9600-96 adapter for 192-well parallel homogenization per chassis cycle.
2. Base for tube / vial sub-adapter workflows — the IPD9600-96 is the required base for sub-adapter SKUs:
Procurement workflow: Order the IPD9600-96 first (or alongside chassis commissioning) as the base 96-well plate adapter. Add sub-adapters (IPD9600-1520 / IPD9600-48) as workflow-specific additions to the base.
