The Yamato ADP-210C is the 220V configuration of the 10 L benchtop programmable vacuum drying oven, the same compact chassis as the 115V ADP-200C. It dries heat-sensitive materials gently by decompression radiation heating: reducing chamber pressure lowers the boiling point of moisture and solvents so they evaporate well below their atmospheric boiling points. on a benchtop footprint, it suits individual-investigator vacuum drying, small-batch solvent removal, and moisture-sensitive sample preparation in 220V labs.

Step up to ADP-310C for the same 220V supply on the larger 27 L chamber.

Voltage note: The ADP200/300 operation manual documents the 100V-base chassis (100V AC, 8A). The ADP-210C is the 220V variant of the programmable -C oven; the 680 W mica-heater rating is carried from the manual. The 115V sibling is ADP-200C.

Application Profile

Small-batch solvent removal. Vacuum drying pulls residual solvents out of powders, films, and reaction products at low temperature, avoiding the thermal degradation atmospheric drying would risk. The 10 L chamber suits single-project batch sizes.

Moisture-sensitive sample preparation. Reduced-pressure drying removes bound and surface moisture from hygroscopic reagents, electronic components, and materials samples before weighing, coating, or further processing, without oxidative exposure.

Heat-sensitive material drying. Solvents flash off at reduced pressure well below their atmospheric boiling points, so degradation-prone organics, biologics, and polymers dry gently. The ±10 °C distribution and ±1.5 °C control accuracy (at 240 °C, no load) support repeatable results.

Degassing and outgassing. Reduced-pressure operation drives dissolved gases and volatiles out of resins, adhesives, and cast materials prior to curing or measurement.

Individual-investigator and teaching use. The benchtop footprint and 10 L capacity fit a single-user bench or instructional lab where floor-standing capacity would be excess.

Design Architecture

The ADP-210C dries by decompression radiation heating: a 680 W mica heater warms the SUS304 stainless chamber while an external vacuum pump (connected via the 18 mm-OD intake port) evacuates it to as low as 0.1 kPa (~1 Torr). Lowering pressure suppresses the boiling point of water and solvents, so evaporation proceeds at low temperature and heat-sensitive samples are not thermally stressed.

Control. A digital PID microcomputer controller (VS1) governs setpoint temperature across the 40–240 °C range with ±1.5 °C adjustment accuracy at 240 °C. Digital temperature setting and display, plus a timer with auto-start / auto-stop selection, support the programmable operation the -C designation denotes. Vacuum is read on a Bourdon-tube gauge and managed manually via the pump and purge valves.

Chamber and viewing. The 200 × 250 × 200 mm interior holds two aluminum shelves (pitch 63 mm, ~15 kg each). A 12 mm reinforced-glass inspection window with a polycarbonate protection plate allows samples to be observed under vacuum.

Safety. An over-current earth-leakage breaker plus a dual (independent) overheating-prevention circuit protect the load; the temperature-measurement circuit, CPU, sensors, and output stage are independent of the overheat circuit. Never operate this oven with flammable or explosive materials or in a flammable/explosive gas atmosphere. The unit is not explosion-proof.

Frequently Asked Questions

What temperature and vacuum range does the ADP-210C cover? 40 to 240 °C, with an operating vacuum range of 101 to 0.1 kPa (760 to ~1 Torr), and ±1.5 °C adjustment accuracy at 240 °C.

How does vacuum drying protect heat-sensitive samples? Reducing chamber pressure lowers the boiling point of water and solvents, so they evaporate well below their atmospheric boiling points and degradation-prone organics, biologics, and polymers dry gently.

What is the chamber capacity? 10 L (internal 200 × 250 × 200 mm), a SUS304 stainless chamber holding 2 aluminum shelves rated ~15 kg each.

Does the ADP-210C include a vacuum pump? No. It requires an external vacuum pump (approx. 50 L/min displacement) connected to the 18 mm-OD intake port via a vacuum hose. Confirm pump and hose selection at quote.

What voltage does it require? 220V, 50/60 Hz. The 115V sibling on the same 10 L chassis is the ADP-200C; step up to the ADP-310C for the same 220V supply on a 27 L chamber.

Ordering & Configuration

Included: 2 aluminum punched-metal shelves and power cord (per the ADP200/300 manual accessory list).

Pair with a vacuum pump. The oven requires an external vacuum pump (approx. 50 L/min displacement) connected to the 18 mm-OD intake with a vacuum hose. Confirm pump and hose kit selection at quote.

Confirm voltage and plug. The ADP-210C is the 220V configuration; the ADP-200C is the 115V sibling on the same 10 L chassis. Confirm supply voltage and receptacle at order.

Confirm application fit. Verify sample chemistry, target drying temperature and vacuum level, batch size versus the 10 L chamber, and whether the 27 L ADP-310C is the better capacity match.

Request a quote for pricing, vacuum-pump pairing, voltage/plug configuration, lead time, and warranty terms. Warranty per Yamato standard capital-equipment terms. Confirm at quote.
