The DR-201-220V is built for work above the reach of a standard drying oven, ashing and sintering, high-temperature material conditioning, and heat treatment where a controlled 300–700 °C soak is needed but a full muffle furnace is oversized. Because it is a natural-convection design, it heats without a circulation fan, which suits work where forced air would disturb light residues or ash. The dual-color LED display separates the live reading (green) from the setpoint (red) for clear high-temperature operation.
Why the Yamato DR-201-220V spans oven and furnace duty
At 700 °C, uniformity necessarily widens (the brochure states ±25 °C distribution and a 30 °C gradient at full temperature) which is normal for a compact high-temperature chamber and the reason ashing/sintering (tolerant of gradient) is a natural fit while tight-uniformity drying stays in the lower-temperature DX/DVS ovens.
