Three selectable output voltages. DC 35 V (low-voltage long runs for high-resolution separation), DC 50 V (standard runs), DC 100 V (rapid runs for fast PCR-product screening). The voltage selection is a button on the control panel, no separate power-supply programming required.
Reversible comb design. Each comb has two tooth-edges (different tooth widths and counts), flipping the comb selects between the two configurations. Two combs included per casting-stand format gives the lab 4 effective comb configurations from the included starter kit.

Ordering & Configuration
Buffer setup. 250–300 ml of 1× TAE or 1× TBE (or 0.5× TAE / TBE) is the standard buffer charge. Higher-concentration buffer raises current and may trigger the over-current protection (E5 / E7 errors per brochure troubleshooting).
Gel preparation. Each 10.5 × 6 cm tray requires ~25 ml of agarose (poured at ~60 °C); the 5 × 6 cm tray uses proportionally less. Standard agarose concentrations apply per workflow protocol (typically 1–2% for routine DNA work).
Run protocol. Voltage selection (35 / 50 / 100 V), timer (0–99 min or continuous), Start/Stop button. Run-end alarm beeps 3 times; "Ed" (END) display indication clears with any key press.
