The Z496-1000-A100 is the 3 × 100 mL bottle insert for the Hermle Z496-1000-RBUK rectangular bucket — sold as a 2-pack. Each insert holds 3 standard 100 mL polypropylene centrifuge bottles per bucket position. With the full 4-bucket configuration (2 units of this SKU = 4 inserts), the rotor processes 12 × 100 mL bottles per cycle — appropriate for mid-volume cell-culture and protein-prep workflows on the Z496-K chassis.

Insert pairing — Z496-1000-RBUK rectangular bucket only. Engineered to fit inside the rectangular-bucket envelope. Not compatible with round buckets (Z496-1000-1L) or with bucket geometries on other Hermle chassis families.
12-bottle per-cycle throughput when fully configured. Meaningful for batch cell-culture pellet recovery, vaccine pre-concentration, and recombinant-protein lysate clarification at 100 mL bottle scale.
Mixed-format flexibility. Inserts can be installed for bottle-format work and removed for microplate-direct loading — same rotor + bucket combination handles both workflows.
Z496-1000-A100 ships as 2 inserts. Bottles, Z496-1000-RBUK rectangular bucket, and Z496-1000-AC rotor body sold separately.
