The Z287-1215 is the 12-position 15 mL angle rotor for the Hermle Z287-A Compact Universal Centrifuge. At 6,000 rpm / 4,427 × g across 12 × 15 mL conical or glass tubes per cycle, this rotor handles the 15 mL primary clinical-research workflow on the Z287-A chassis with angle-geometry pelleting. The 32° angle is shallower than the standard 45° microcentrifuge angle, producing a more even pellet distribution against the tube wall — appropriate for serum/plasma separation where pellet morphology matters for downstream supernatant pipetting.

Direct fit for 15 mL conical and 15 mL glass. Standard Falcon-style 15 mL conical (17 mm OD × 120 mm length) and 15 mL glass research tubes (17 mm OD × 105–120 mm) fit without adapter.

Cross-rotor adapter compatibility. The Z326-prefix adapters (Z326-15-A7, Z326-15-A5) are cross-compatible — Hermle's accessory-table convention shares some adapters across chassis families.
