The Z600-OL-PTC is the felt-cushion adapter that pairs with the Z600-OL-PT ASTM pear-shaped oil test tube on the Hermle OLEUM Oil-Test Centrifuge (Z600-OL chassis), sold as a 2-pack. The adapter seats the glass pear-shaped oil-test tube into the Z600-OL-BUK round bucket; the felt-cushion material protects the glass tube against impact and vibration during centrifugation while ensuring the tube sits at the correct depth and orientation for protocol-compliant ASTM oil-testing analysis. Sister adapter to the Z600-OL-CTC (conical-tube adapter), the two adapters serve different ASTM tube geometries on the same OLEUM rotor.

The pear-shaped tube has different shoulder and tip geometry than the conical tube; the felt-cushion adapter is dimensioned to match the specific tube format. Using the wrong-format adapter risks tube fit problems and balance issues during high-RCF operation.
