Hermetic seal engagement. Per Hermle service instructions, the screw-on metal lid must be fully engaged and torqued to spec before each spin — partial engagement will not maintain the hermetic seal at 17,317 × g.
Adapter consistency when using adapters across positions — all adapters in a balanced pair must be identical (both with the same adapter and same tube format) to maintain mass balance.
Selectable accel/decel. Z207-M chassis profiles apply; the unbraked extended-decel profile (118 sec) preserves loose pellets and density gradients.
