The Z216 chassis is the larger-capacity microcentrifuge in the Hermle benchtop line; this rotor extends its workflow range from the dominant 1.5/2.0 mL microtube formats up into the 5 mL clinical-research tube class. Per the Z216 catalog, this rotor is "for Z216 series only", engineered for the Z216 chassis spindle and not interchangeable with other Hermle chassis families.
