Why the $17 Premium
The 12/13 mm bore diameter is substantially larger than the standard BSH100-* tube wells (1.5 / 2.0 mL Eppendorf and 2 mL autosampler vials are typically ~10–12 mm OD). The larger bores require more aluminum machining time per well, producing the modest premium. All other BSH100-* blocks are $124; only the 12/13 mm vacutainer block is $141.
