Standard tube-format blocks support one tube format only, facilities running diverse workflows must swap blocks between protocols (drop in a PCR block, run the cycle, drop it out, drop in a 1.5 mL block, and so on). The Quick-Flip Universal block eliminates the swap step by putting two different tube-format sides on the same block: physically flip it over to switch between Side 1 (Eppendorf 1.5/2.0 mL + 0.5 mL workflows) and Side 2 (PCR strip, 0.2 mL, and 96-well plate workflows). One BSWCMB replaces approximately 4–5 single-format blocks, and there is no block-swap between cycles, just a flip.
