Insert pairing: Z326-100H bucket only. Order this SKU when:

2. 15 mL Vacutainer-style long blood-collection tubes that exceed the 120 mm length envelope of the standard A15 insert, common in some clinical phlebotomy formats and specialty research tube formats.
3. Specialty round-bottom 15 mL tubes in the 130 mm length range used for specific protocol formats (some serological, some long-format glass tube workflows).
4. Replacement inserts if a current set is damaged or worn.

Application Profile

Why a long-tube variant matters. Standard 15 mL tube formats split into two length classes: ~120 mm (Falcon, Corning conical and most clinical short formats) and ~130 mm (Vacutainer-style long blood tubes, some specialty round-bottom formats). The bucket envelope dimensions accommodate both classes, but each requires its own insert variant to seat the tube at the correct depth and balance position.

Non-sealed insert mode. Per the Z327 brochure footnote, the A15L insert is used without the bucket lid, non-sealable mode. For sealable 15 mL long-tube workflow, the Z326-100H sealed-bucket family does not currently offer a 130 mm length sealable variant; confirm at order if a sealable long-tube workflow is required.

4-bucket symmetric loading. All 4 buckets must use matching A15L inserts for symmetric balance.

Mid-throughput long-tube prep. 4-tube parallel throughput at 4,080 × g and cold-chain temperature for the long-tube 15 mL format.

Veterinary clinical workflows. Some veterinary phlebotomy uses long-format 15 mL collection tubes; the A15L delivers cold-chain veterinary blood-component separation on the Z327-K chassis.

Ordering & Configuration

4-bucket symmetric loading. All 4 buckets must use matching A15L inserts. Mixed-bucket configurations produce mass asymmetry.

Bucket lid removal. The A15L insert is used without the Z326-100H-LID. Confirm the lid is not engaged on the buckets when running this insert.

Tube cap confirmation. All long tubes must be securely capped before spinning at 5,000 rpm.

Z326-100H-A15L ships as 2 inserts. 15 mL long tubes (130 mm length) are operator-supplied. The Z326-100H bucket is sold separately.
