Application Profile

Sealable insert mode: distinct from the A15. The A15S is engineered to work with the Z326-100H-LID, creating a hermetic envelope around each 15 mL tube. The standard A15 insert (different SKU) does not support the bucket lid and is used in non-sealable mode. Per the brochure: A15 is marked "* only without bucket lid"; A15S has no such restriction. The sealable mode is its design intent.

Skirted-base conical compatibility. The A15S envelope is dimensioned for the 17 mm OD × 116 mm length skirted-base / Universal format, a slightly different geometry than standard Falcon/Corning conical (~120 mm length). Verify tube format at order if using non-standard 15 mL tube suppliers.

Tube cap confirmation. All conical tubes must be securely capped before spinning at 5,000 rpm. Biosafety containment depends on both the rotor's hermetic seal and the individual tube cap integrity.

Z326-100H-A15S ships as 2 inserts. 15 mL skirted-base conical tubes are operator-supplied. The Z326-100H bucket and Z326-100H-LID are sold separately.
