Designed for the Yamato WE-200 Pure Line benchtop water purifier. It is the pre-treatment (raw-water) stage of the WE-200 and a routine replacement consumable.
What does the pre-treatment cartridge do? It filters raw feedwater through activated charcoal and a 0.1 µm hollow-fiber membrane, removing particulates and organics before the water reaches the reverse-osmosis membrane. This protects the RO membrane and extends overall consumable life.
Is it included with a new WE-200? A pre-treatment cartridge ships with a new unit; 253099 is the replacement consumable for ongoing operation.
