The IPS2050-P-S2 is the centrifugal stainless steel impeller in the IPS2050 overhead stirrer accessory line — sold separately for use on the OS-20L (IPS2050-20 / -20-E) and OS-40L (IPS2050-40 / -40-E) overhead stirrer chassis. The centrifugal geometry produces predominantly radial flow — the right impeller for dissolution, solution preparation, surfactant mixing, and workflows where horizontal outward flow against the vessel wall produces faster dissolution than axial-flow geometries.

The centrifugal impeller produces horizontal outward flow that drives liquid against the vessel wall and back through the center — generating strong shear at the impeller tip and producing faster dissolution of solids and faster homogenization of immiscible phases than axial-flow geometries.
